Privacy policy

What we collect

• Enquiry form. Your name and email, your company if you give one, what your enquiry is about, and what you tell us about your project or requirements.
• Private intake forms. If we send you a private link, the answers you and your team enter, and when the link was first opened, last opened and last saved. The form also remembers in your browser which title you were working on.
• A hashed network address. To limit repeat sends, we store a one-way hash of your IP address with each enquiry. We do not store the address itself.
• Correspondence. Emails and messages you send us, and our replies.

How we use it

• To reply to you and work out whether and how we can help.
• To scope, deliver and administer any work that follows.
• To keep the site and forms secure and working.
• To meet our legal and accounting duties.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to that.

If UK or EU data protection law applies to you, our legal bases are our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and running our business, steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, performing a contract with you, and complying with our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

• Cloudflare hosts this site and our forms and stores what you send through them. It processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect them.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser connects to Google to fetch them, which shares your IP address with Google.
• Other service providers we use to run the business, including email, messaging and data storage services, and AI tools that help us read and organise what you send.
• Prospective buyers, if you have asked us to take a description of your project or data to them. That description may identify your company.
• Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it or where we need to protect our legal rights.

Our team and service providers work in more than one country, so your information may be handled outside the place where you live, including outside Hong Kong.

Cookies and analytics

We do not run analytics or advertising on this site, and we do not set tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including any work that follows and our legal and accounting duties. If you ask us to delete it and we have no such need, we will.

Security

Information reaches us over encrypted connections, access is limited to the people who need it, and private intake links are stored only in hashed form. No system is completely secure, so please do not send code, credentials or raw data through these forms.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or give you a portable copy.

You can also complain to your data protection regulator. In Hong Kong that is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.

Other sites and services

Our pages link to other sites, such as LinkedIn, which have their own privacy terms. The same goes for any booking link or meeting invitation we send you.

Children

Psyon is a business service and is not aimed at anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
